Philip has over 26 years experience in the financial industry, participating in Internationally renowned public forums and contributing numerous articles in the Australian and Asian financial press. He acquired his insight into International financial dealings during his years as an Executive Director for the renowned International finance company, Rothschild Asset Management in Singapore, South East Asia, where his brief covered Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Prior to his posting to South East Asia he was Rothschild's State Manager for Western Australia.

Philips experience also included a highly successful period as Managing Director of the second largest privately owned Malaysian Asset Management and Unit Trust company owned by Malaysia's second oldest privately owned bank. During his time with the Malaysian companies he lifted their profile and performance to run second out of the 100 plus Unit Trust companies in Malaysia and sixth for the S.E Asian region.

More recently, Philip returned to Western Australia where he has had several successful financial ventures. He was the Chairman of a group that made ASX history when they successfully listed an Information Technology company called HotCopper Australia Ltd at a good premium to the seed capitalists and vendor's initial investment and on-sold the newly listed company twelve days after listing for a substantially high premium to another listed IT Australian IT company.
